Jesus said to him, ‘I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.’” Luke 23:43 (NCV) Jesus died for our sins. That is the reason He came to earth; so He could accomplish that task. Ask your child this week why He came and see what answer you get. Once you establish the fact that He came to die for our sins; then ask how that affects our lives. I chose this verse for my pal to learn this week so we could talk about Jesus dying between two criminals. Did Jesus deserve that? Stop and ponder that for a moment: the Son of God being put between two criminals. Yet He is what stands between you and me and our judgment. Everything we have done; everything we ever will do: He stands between us and our condemnation. Make sure my pals know that the earth is full of judgment but just like that day Jesus turns to us and tells us we are forgiven.

Our main goal is to insure each child is safe and has a fun time and feels loved and accepted unconditionally. In attaining this goal we believe we not only serve the children but the parents as well. Background checks are required for all teachers in order to insure the safety of our children and training is provided. If you would like more information please see Aaron Winters, our Director of the Children's Ministry or call the church office. |
